The Content Providers were
proud features of the annual Boomshow at the Canvas Cafe. There was music all
day which featured some of the best of the best of San Francisco's Open Mic
music scene. This was probably our most ambitious set yet as we used this as
the perfect opportunity to play some new material. Only three of the eight
songs on the set were on either of the Content Providers CD; the opener "Soft
shoulder" and "Formerly Boomtown" as well as the revitalization of
"Ex-Supernova". New tracks like "Run Crab Run" and "A Spy in the House of
Style" sounded surprisingly brilliant. We also revitalized one of Neo's X-Tal
songs, "Union Sunrise". |
